System Introduction
The IG-541 mixed gas fire extinguishing agent used in the IG-541
fire extinguishing system is a fire extinguishing agent made by
mixing nitrogen (N2), argon (Ar) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the
atmosphere at a ratio of 52%, 40% and 8% respectively. The IG-541
fire extinguishing system, also known as the mixed gas fire
extinguishing system, is a new type of gas fire extinguishing
system developed in recent years. The technology is relatively new
and it is a "green" environmentally friendly fire extinguishing
system. The three components of the IG-541 fire extinguishing
system are all basic components of the atmosphere. After use, they
return to nature with their original components. It is a green fire
extinguishing agent and an ideal substitute for halon fire
extinguishing agent. It is colorless and odorless, non-conductive,
non-corrosive, and has no environmental restrictions. There is no
decomposition product during the fire extinguishing process. The
non-toxic reaction (NOAEL) concentration of IG541 is 43%, and the
toxic reaction (LOAEL) concentration is 52%. The design
concentration of IG541 is generally between 37% and 43%. A short
stay of personnel in this concentration will not cause
physiological effects and is relatively safe.
